Absolutely do not trust these people. We had a tire that shredded off on the freeway - we were towed to Salinas Tires & Wheels because it was the closest shop that had the correct size tires for us. They knew what happened, replaced the tires, and sent us on our way. We woke up the next morning (on a holiday weekend, in a remote part of San Diego County) to that tire having gone flat again. We went to the trouble of having a mobile repair person come to us, who showed us clearly that the rim was cracked, and that Salinas Tire KNEW it because they added a bunch of sealant there to conceal the problem. At no point were we informed there was a cracked rim - we *never* would have driven off the lot, nor should they have allowed us to do so - we had our young child in the car with us. In the State of California, a tire shop has a legal duty of care to perform repairs correctly and not knowingly release a vehicle in an unsafe condition. And yet, Salinas Tires & Wheels did not inform us of the cracked rim and let us drive off the lot with a child in the car. Allowing someone to drive on a cracked rim is not only a serious safety hazard, it is quite literally illegal in California if it compromises the tire's structural integrity - which it did. Absolutely insane behavior. Better yet, when we called and spoke to the manager about our concerns, he dismissed them and refused to refund us for the full price of the service they provided. Bold move for someone who just violated California state law. PLEASE do not trust these people.
I brought in some rims to have tires mounted and the service was excellent. The team was fast and professional - they even test fit the tires to make sure the size was right and that there wouldn't be any rubbing issues. Everything was done in about 40 minutes, and the price was very reasonable. Definitely recommend!

Don’t go! They will try to pull every dollar and cent possible Went for a simple tire patch and they tried charging me $50+! Ridiculous! They said it’s cause the pacth, the plug and the service of removing and adding the tire….. Another location is $25 or less! Save your TIME
