I want to share my personal experience with Orkin in Huntington Beach. I have a large house with a pretty persistent mouse problem in a property I have lived in for a year. I discovered the issue a few months after moving in. I have a friend who works for Orkin so I called him for guidance after getting a few quotes from other Exterminator companies, and he told me that Orkin was great and to hire them. I trust my friend, I followed his advice. Thank you dear friend of 27 years Ivan Velazquez. I have learned a lot in the last year about mice and dealing with this issue. It’s very hard, especially when your home is large and it backs up to a park. I have great respect for all of the Orkin professionals in Huntington Beach. I have met mostly everyone and they all have been kind, patient, caring, helpful, and courteous. Even though if I were to be honest, they all don’t have the same work ethic. There were a few of the guys that told me I didn’t have a rodent problem at all and insinuated (most likely because I’m a woman that I didn’t know what I was talking about, experienced, or they thought I was overreacting.) I imagine it had a lot to do with they didn’t see the evidence exactly as they thought it should be, but it was there. They weren’t seeing all the evidence because I was cleaning it up because I don’t want to die of hantavirus pulmonary syndrome, a rare rodent-borne respiratory disease that can be caught from exposure to the rodents pee and poop. It is what Gene Hackman’s wife recently died of. But no worries I am very persistent and trying every possible method to solve this issue so I did not let them deter me. I just kept reporting the issue. I’m sure I’m probably marked as the annoying customer, but I’ll take it if that means I can get rid of the rodents.😊 The managers are AMAZING and definitely set apart from other exterminator competitors . I literally have them nicknamed in my phone as my Orkin BFFs because they have been supportive, kind, helpful, have reassured me that this situation is going to get better, and get solved too. Even though it hasn’t yet unfortunately but it’s not from lack of them trying. Thank you Ralph Reuss and customer service managers Frank Martin and Marcelo Escalera. These guys are not guys that just sit in the office and make empty promises. They have come to the property to help solve the problems themselves. You can’t get any better than that. But there is one Orkin Pro that goes above and beyond from day one GABRIEL VELASCO! When he came to service the house last summer I immediately knew he had a strong work ethic, he cared, and he genuinely wanted to solve the issue. He immediately found live and dead mice, mice droppings, and jumped into action doing exclusions that the other Orkin professional should’ve done but didn’t because he told me I didn’t have a mouse problem which wasn’t true. Once I saw how focused GABRIEL VELASCO was I thought to myself it will be simple. I can just call and request him, but I got some pushback of course because the Orkin scheduling system does not put their customers first not in anyway it’s a nightmare so whoever is in charge of that needs to change it if your customer request a particular person they should be able to have that person. And the call center they’re not very friendly or helpful so I try to avoid that at all cost. Well, after several months of me personally being persistent, understanding, and kind to anyone that would listen at Orkin. I finally got Gabriel and he continues to find rodent activity, and does everything he can to solve it. He is a true professional that is one of Orkin very best! I am grateful for all of his hard work, help, and dedication to helping me. this situation is scary and to know that I have a partner in solving this brings me reassurance that there are still good people in the world. I know my review is long, but it’s honest and I would highly recommend Orkin especially the Huntington Beach Branch. They truly are wonderful. And I look forward to my rodent issue being resolved soon.

Technician Jonathan showed up on On time. Jonathan was very polite and he was very efficient. He asked the questions he needed to ask and got right to work. Showing up on time and having your technician be efficient, What more can a customer ask for? I received the best customer service ever.

Orkin has been great! Their crew, especially Jaime, has always been friendly, prompt, knowledgeable, and professional. I would strongly recommend them.

I’ve been using Orkin for well over a year now. Wes and Kyler tend to service my home and they’re both such kind and professional men. They listen, remember, and address any ant issues I get. They take the time to educate me and explain everything they do. I always appreciate their work they do for my home.

We came back to Orkin and cancelled another company's services. Orkin is just better, their experience is outstanding. Especially our technician Joel was excellent. He is so knowledgeable and truly cared about the success and our home, I can't thank him enough !
