Always a fantastic experience at this auto parts store! The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, making it easy to find exactly what I need. I love how they go the extra mile to ensure I leave with the right parts and a smile on my face!
I walked in to attempt to charge my battery. I waited in line patiently. 1st guy definitely did not want to help me (assistant manager on his uniform, pony tail latino) when I asked if he could help me out with the battery he didn’t even say anything, just ‘im not sure’. After I said I’m not in a rush I just need a little help because I don’t know what I’m doing, He gives me 2 boxes of tools not saying anything staring off blankly & def flustered or angry about something, while im asking if he could at least tell me what to do. I’m not a car person and this was my first time doing this ever. This is a dodge challenger 2019. I go outside and YouTube how to take the battery out in 30 seconds, which looked very simple if following the instructions correctly. I walk back in and assistant manager is helping someone else, so I waited in line again. The next person to help me is nicer, but he doesn’t even know what to do & has a similar reaction when I ask for assistance. But he walks outside with me to check it out at least. Another coworker (Asian guy with glasses) walks up and I asked him if either of them can please help me take this battery out of the car. He explains if they don’t know how to do it they can’t do it. And he also says ‘I’m off the clock so I can’t’ and then walks off. Mind you my car is barely turning on, I was lucky enough to even get it to this O’Reilly’s location. And none of the three employees even check the battery with the battery reader to see if it was good or bad. So after that, I say OK thank you, you guys are useless. I was lucky enough, the car turned on and I drove to fountain valleys O’Reillys where they all helped me without a problem. The battery had a bad cell. And I bought the battery at fountain valley O’Reillys. You would think employees at an auto parts store would know how to do something as simple as take a battery out of a car. I learned how to do it within 30 seconds of a YouTube video. 3 employees at this location didn’t know how to take a battery out of a car, or did not want to help at all.
Great customer service, good parts stock, and always helpful. This store is our go-to location. If they don’t have what you need, they can usually get it within a few hours.
Chris Asst. Mgr. & Cristian ordered and processed my carburetor kits. Great customer servicd and business Relationship. Respectfully BarbCarburator
I usually have a decent customer service experiment going to O'Reilly's . Their prices are sometimes off and other times they are s good deal. Tonight (father's day) I didn't appreciate them rushing me out the door 8imites before official closing time. I needed parts and has to go to Walmart
