Had an amazing experience at MiTa Head Spa! Went in for the VIP 3 package. Currently $125; it's a great price for a 1.5hr service with full hair spa, complete facial, and a bit of seated hot stone massage! All of the products & tools smelled and felt like great quality, and most of all the service was top notch. Loved the amazing lymphatic facial massage, and the really thorough and deep cleanse of my scalp. Honestly went in feeling pretty grungy, coming from a long day at work, the gym/pool, and just general hair wash day. Left feeling so much lighter, with my hair looking healthy and clean & skin glowing! This is my 3rd try at different hair spa businesses in the OC, yet this is the first time I am confident in becoming a repeat customer. Goldilocks style.. The first place just felt like a generic salon hair wash in a fancier setting with a very rushed, cheap facial and overall not worth it, despite being a decent price. The second place was great with a fancy scalp scan, but really expensive and not sustainable for regular visits. Whereas at MiTa Head Spa, the quality of service was excellent & the price point is just right; which is always great to allow more room in the budget for properly tipping these hardworking ladies! My aesthetician's name is Moon, and I highly recommend her services! The salon seems new. Everything was clean and sparkly, very cute and sanitary! Friendly service all-around!
Loved my experience at MiTa Head Spa today. The place is super clean and relaxing, and Tammy was amazing. She made me feel so comfortable and really knew what she was doing. The whole treatment was so soothing, I didn’t realize how much tension I was holding in my scalp until it melted away. My hair and scalp feel so refreshed. If you’ve been thinking about trying a head spa, go see MiTa . You won’t regret it!
My friend and I did the 90 minute deluxe treatment. We were welcomed warmly and quickly sat. They have massage beds to include legs. I’ve been to a few head spas, here they mostly used hands and fingers whereas other spas used tools. My friend and I both throughly enjoyed our experience here and it was nice to have our hair blow dried at the end so we didn’t leave with completely wet hair. Booking online was easy and convenient.
It was relaxing the first visit, so I came back…but this visit?! I was very disappointed with THIS visit. The person working on me was excessively rough, making the entire experience uncomfortable rather than relaxing. Soap repeatedly in my eyes, and there was no adjustment made after it happened multiple times. It felt rushed and I’m pretty sure she cut my hair. I left feeling tense instead of refreshed, which defeats the purpose of a head spa.
I got a slcap treatment by MiTa last weekend and I had such a great experience. The salon was very clean and everyone was so polite. I felt so relaxed and my hair never felt cleaner. I will definitely be back soon!!
