The airport is spacious and well-maintained, featuring clear infographics that make navigation easy. There is a good variety of dining options available. While it may not have the same contemporary appeal as airports like San Francisco International or LaGuardia in New York, it still provides a pleasant experience. However, it's important to note that traffic can vary significantly depending on the time of day you arrive or depart.

This airport is nuts. I stopped here for a layover and so glad I did because if you didn’t, you’re looking down into main area where you have to get checked in and go through security. This is definitely comparable to the Atlanta airport where you do actually want to come 2 hours early because it’s so busy. I did find a lot of good options to dine at, luxury stores and mainstream stores for shopping. There’s plenty of open seating around the terminals. You could easily get lost here because it is so spread out. I didn’t have a bad experience here just passing through but I can see how chaotic it could be if you’re departing from here.

Boy people in Los Angeles that are in the service industry are so rude and into themselves, compared to all the sweet kind-hearted people that we met in Peru that were in customer service. And the people in Peru were happy to go above and beyond for next to no pay, just a smile or a handshake 🤝*!

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is one of the busiest airports in the world and the primary gateway to Southern California. Here's a detailed review based on various factors: Pros: 1. Extensive Flight Options – As a major hub, LAX offers flights to virtually every major international and domestic destination. 2. Modernized Terminals – Several terminals, like the Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT), have been renovated with modern amenities, better dining, and shopping options. 3. Public Transportation Improvements – The new LAX Automated People Mover (APM) is expected to make transit easier when fully operational. 4. Diverse Dining Options – From fast food to gourmet restaurants, the airport has a wide range of dining choices. 5. Major Airline Hubs – Home to multiple airlines, including American Airlines, Delta, and United, ensuring frequent flights and connectivity. Cons: 1. Traffic Congestion – The airport's layout and surrounding highways often lead to severe traffic jams, making drop-offs and pick-ups frustrating. 2. Security Lines – Depending on the time of day, security and customs wait times can be extremely long. 3. Aging Infrastructure in Some Terminals – Not all terminals have been updated, and some still feel outdated. 4. Lack of Efficient Connectivity Between Terminals – Walking between terminals can be time-consuming, and shuttle services aren't always reliable. 5. Limited Seating & Charging Stations – Some areas lack adequate seating and charging ports for passengers. Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) LAX is improving with ongoing upgrades, but traffic and long wait times remain major challenges. If you're flying through LAX, planning ahead and arriving early can help ensure a smoother experience.

Super nice airport, currently under construction so give yourself a little extra time for departures. Tons of dining options, as well as places to get drink. The snack shops are a little overpriced. You’re better off bringing stuff with you. Plenty of restrooms. Most of the security staff were friendly. The airline staff were friendly in the willing to help, depending on the airline and depending on the person. I’ve never had any issues. I’ve seen some people having interactions. All of the rental car services have shuttles to their locations to and from the airport.
