I almost gave a complete five star review, however I had to come back to add a few things. I was enjoying my chicken tacos and all of a sudden I ran into bits and pieces of carne asada. For meat lovers this is a win, however because I usually don't eat meat and just barely started eating chicken recently, this grossed me out completely. Then I started thinking they serve brain and tongue here and so I don't want bits and pieces of that up in my taco as well. I'm completely turned off by it, but before then it was super tasty. I just need to wrap my brain around the fact that I could have ate some la langua or cabeza. Not happy with that, so I took it from a 5 star to a 3 star. The only reason why they are not getting 1 star today is because the lady at the register was amazing and the carrots are al dente and very good. I'm scared to even try my potato tacos now. Good thing I got this on Taco Tuesday special, but unfortunately I can't trust the cook enough to come back.
Great little hidden Mexican restaurant. Their plates are definitely not “fast food”, it’s authentic Mexican food. I love their breakfast burritos! The breakfast burrito is huge and only $4.99 after 9AM. Place might not last long bc of the location... but their food is legit.
The food was Amazing. The plate came with 4 tortillas. I came on a Tuesday night around 8pm they were pretty busy on the drive thru. The place is very clean ☺️ and enjoyable to eat at.
5 taco place for $12. I got carne asada, good average tacos. Id back for a quick cheap lunch. Nice small business, taco drive through
First time and sadly, last time. The food person at the window was very nice. We had the carnitas plate and the birria plate. Neither had much meat, nor was very tasty. In fact, there was probably only a quarter of the carnitas I can get at Adalbertos on Katella in Los Al, or Super Mex in HB. The birria was really fatty. The side salsas were not very good. I enjoyed the small amount of beans and rice though. Maybe it’s because it’s a Monday or maybe because they need to keep costs down, but I was really not impressed. :(
