I don’t know how this place doesn’t have many more reviews but this is such a cute spot to take kids or even a date to if they’re into all these cute stuffed animals! They have a great variety, and the claw isn’t weak, although it did take a few times on some machines to get a winning, I think that could be from the prize being a little heavy. Overall, I think the price is good a dollar per try, they had good music going on, a good amount of customers in there, even though it’s in a mall that’s slowly closing down. Me and my daughter had a great time, we probably spent over an hour there.
I'm terrible at claw machines (i try every time i see one but have won maybe like 2) but this place did not disappoint. It's the experience! It's roughly $1/play, but if the staff sees you're trying a few times unsuccessfully (as they did with me), they'll ask you if you want them to "reposition" anything, & make it a lot easier! They make it pretty impossible not to get one, which is great for people like me! Or you can just ask them to do so. Very very fun. Big place, inside a mall that otherwise looks very dead (we went straight here then left the mall lol). Would definately come back, as they switch out the plushes they have in the machines. My girlfriend & i got a collective total of 5 (she got 4 & i got 1) after spending $30 on coins, not bad! Lots of photo opportunities too!
This place was super cute and my family really enjoyed it. I felt like it wasn't super cheap to play here but it DEFINITELY is not crazy expensive either. Each round on the claw machines are $1 , which equal 1 coin. You have to exchange your money into coins when you get in there. There are so many different machines to attempt to get stuff animals from but key word is ATTEMPT. Lol. If you are lucky, you can get a decent amount of stuffed animals here. We spent $60 and walked away with 6 stuffed animals. Is that a little pricey...sure..but was it fun..yes. Don't get too carried away though...my kid wanted a Stitch stuffed animal and I swear I spent $20 on that1 machine alone and NEVER got it. There looks like there are grip pieces at the end of each of the claws machines but as much as I think it can be helpful to be there and also looks like it can be slippery. I don't know if it is a grip at the tip of each claw or if it is a silicone slippery piece. The one caution I do have is that you will pick up a lot of stuffed animals with the claws. That is a guarantee that you will be able to lift up many stuffed animals within the machine. The problem comes when you watch The Claw pull the stuffed animal up every machine hits the top so hard that it drops the stuffed animal more than 50% of the time. That had to be the most frustrating part of this experience, but again...it was still fun. Also a really cool thing they do here is that you can trade your stuffed animals at the end. So you need a minimum of four random stuffed animals from any machines and you can go up to the front and they have specific bigger items that you can trade it for. So I saw that the amount of stuffed animals to trade in were in increments of 4, 6, 8, 10. Maybe more I don't remember. Either was..super neat. Too bad this is in a mall that will probably close down soon lol
You likely won't win much from this place. The claws are rigged to drop the prize every time it hits the top. No matter how well you grab onto the price once it hits the top it'll automatically drop. I spent 40 bucks and won one price that's worth $0.50. My son said he'd rather play at Dave & Buster's then this place. Plus this mall is almost dead 80% of the shops are out of business. I would never go back to this place
Not as good as the one in West Co. You might get something but the machines won't give out prizes too often from what I saw. Great fun if you have a couple dollars to burn tho 🙂
