I tried the Kabab Grill after a recommendation from my contact at Catalyst (Art Supply Warehouse). I'm so glad I did! My two item plate was so yummy! The plate comes with two protein options and two side dishes. I chose chicken kabab and kefta (ground beef) kabab. I also wanted to taste three of the sides so Ibrahm suggested I go half and half. So I got half tabouli and half cucumber salad and some hummus. As he was packing my bag to go, he asked if I wanted any sauces: a hot sauce and a galicky yogurt sauce. Since this was my first time at Kabab Grill so I asked him for his recommendation - he said get both. OMG I'm so glad I did. They are both very delicious with the meats. Everything was soooo good. I will definitely go again!
Delicious food with great value! The wraps were full of vegetables and meat, and the service was quick. The food is not the best I’ve ever had, but you will definitely get your money’s worth with their portions. There is a large selection of dishes to pick from, and the staff are attentive and nice as well. The interior is slightly dated, but mostly clean.
This is my favorite place to eat Mediterranean food. I think I've tried everything on the menu and it is all a 11/10. The family that own the restaurant are very nice and welcoming. The portions are big and very well priced! Eat here once and you will come back!
Been going here for over 7 years now and I've always had a good experience. The staff is very friendly, the portions are huge, and the prices are very affordable considering the recent food industry inflation. The food always hits the spot. The sides are always fresh and they have variety of drinks( non alcoholic) best part is that it's all halal! (Except for the gyro meat)
You may ask yourself, how did they get here? This is not some fancy-schmancy eatery on main street HB, but it sure tastes like it! This place is the very definition of "hidden gem". In more than ten years coming to this restaurant I've never once been disappointed! This is a family owned establishment and they clearly take pride in what they do; from the quality of the food to the cleanliness of the place, and back to the attentive and polite service, you can be assured that you will be taken care of and that your food will be fresh and perfect. Sincerely, do not be fooled by the humble decorating style of the dining area, the styrofoam takeout containers, or the strip mall where it's located; this is top quality, authentic Mediterranean food and you will not find any better in the "fancier" restaurants of O.C. My usual order is the two-skewer lamb kebab plate with baba ghanouj, mediterranean salad or tzatseki as the sides. The rice pilaf is just right, and the garlic sauce is the condiment that elevates everything. The gyro sandwich is also wonderful (pictured cut open so you can see the fillings). I often save half for the next day's lunch. They must be experts at preparing lamb here at Kebab Grill, and I wholeheartedly recommend that you try the lamb kebabs, roast lamb, or the lamb shanks -- give them a chance to impress you with their signature meat!
