I lived nearby about 10 years ago and used to come here. It was always really good. Today, I had some work to take care of in the area, and I decided to come back. Guess what? It's still really good. I had a polish sausage and a Chicago hot dog. Both tasted good and were served fairly quickly. The polish sausage and hot dog both had a nice snap. The garnishes were all flavorful. Overall, I thought it was a good value, too. I would definitely come here again and recommend it to anyone who likes hot dogs, Italian beef and this kind of food in general.
The Chicago style hot beef was delicious! I grew up in Chicago and at every family gathering we had hot beef sandwiches. The next time I come, I want to try their Chicago style hotdogs. It looks very authentic with Vienna style beef. The hot this is on French bread and is doused Au jus. I recommend asking for extra because it is delicious.. I ordered sweet peppers, but hot peppers is also an option. They have smoothies and shakes as well as soft drinks. It's one dollar for refills. There is a small area to sit outside and eat and it's very quiet, although it is next to a busy road. The service was very nice and I highly recommend this place if you like Chicago street cuisine.
There’s a walk up section with tables and a drive thru window. I love how juicy the dogs are. I get the Chicago dog every time and I love that all the toppings complement each other very well. Will always be a fan!
Food was good. I love that this is a local joint, meaning a nonchain. Food took a little long to prepare, but that was good and means it was fresh. There is a walk up window and a drive thru. The smoothies were super good and super fresh. I felt the chilli cheese dog could have had a little more toppings but it was good. We ordered the Mayor - fries were very scarce, and the half of dogs were more like 1/4 of a dog. Anyway ... take the trip. It is worth it.
Was hankering for something I haven't had in a long while and saw this place near me. Ordered from the window by friendly staff and got me a chili cheese dog. It hit the spot so good with a side of crispy French fries. Definitely check this small place out for a good dog!
