I mean its pricey but kids will have an awesome time. Food is actually pretty good , an place was kept rather clean.
Feel scammed. I payed $80 and didn't get to eat anything, drink anything, play any games, or do any rides. The pizza was all bread and was deformed, the ice cream machines were both broken, the soda machines were all out of soda, and the icee machines weren't working either. The arcade card wasn't working, I asked an employee and was told that a new update made it so you have to scan one specific barcode when their cards have three on them next to each other. So I'm hungry, thirsty, and frustrated as hell wiggling this card under a scanner trying to play a game for 15 seconds before it finally registers a scan and says error. I guess that was the wrong barcode. I was getting too upset so I went to sit down and the furniture is all messed up but whatever, I sit down anyways and the table is all sticky. I go wash the mystery sticky stuff off and go home. If this was my first time at any John's Incredible Pizza I would never go to any of them for the rest of my life. I know the one in Montclair and Riverside are both good so it's just this location that needs to be avoided.
We really thought the place had closed down. The mall looks abandoned. I called the phone number and the recording assured that it is in fact open! Girl at entrance was friendly and helpful. Food was as expected. Didn’t really miss the chicken, so many other options and love all the sauces to chose from. Many dishes and trays at the buffet were dirty with food still on them. Dirty napkins shoved in the clean forks. Dirty napkins around the dishes area. Kids reusing their dirty plates to get more food. I wish the workers would tell the groups as they enter to get a clean plate each time. My Kids had a great time and everyone was able to find things they liked to eat.
Got there around 6pm ish on a Saturday. So of course they had food constantly being added. Unfortunately, it seemed like half of the games either did not work right or the machines had a hard time scanning the cards to be able to play the game. Most of the shooting games that were two players. One would work okay but the other one the aim was way off. One of the games it did not matter where you aimed. Your shots were going towards the top of the screen and missing everything and anything. Skee-ball, one out of 6 were working. The 6 lane bowling they have. I believe only two were working. The bumper car things they have only 6 cars out of i think 10 worked.
I attended a birthday party in one of the reserved rooms, and I was genuinely shocked by how hot it was — I nearly passed out from the heat. The supervisor said they couldn’t adjust the temperature, and with everyone inside, it easily reached around 80 degrees. It was extremely uncomfortable and disappointing. On top of that, the food was mediocre at best. They kept running out of chicken strips, and there were no fries available at all. Once the reserved time ended, I stepped into one of the open areas and immediately noticed how much cooler it was. Do yourself a favor and skip reserving a room — it felt more like a sauna than a party space.
