I am a new convert to Islam and have become a Muslim. My daughter, Esther was the first in our family to bring the truth to our home. The first time I read the Quran the experience was extraordinary! I needed a Quran of my own with large print and found one beautiful hardbound book. The store is filled with books and the customer service is excellent and we look forward to visiting again.
Their incredible nonprofit mission inspired me. Everything you'd want from a specialty bookstore--with incredible service.
I am amazed by this great big bookstore. This is my first visit, and I am grateful that this store has a massive collection of novels, poetry, Islamic books (inc., tajweed, hadeeth, etc.), Arabic books, and many others. The place is very well organized, clean, and cozy. The owner and staff were friendly; they greeted us warmly. The owner is very knowledgeable. He helped me find the books I needed. I would love to come back and buy more books soon.
The owner was extremely rude and unprofessional, at one point loudly yelling at employees in front of everyone. The atmosphere felt tense and uncomfortable the entire time. There was a strong sense of entitlement and zero respect for basic customer service. Watching employees get spoken to that way was especially disappointing. No one should be treated like that in a workplace or as a paying customer. Professionalism and basic decency matter. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression, and I would not return.
Amazing Islamic book selection, and whatever they don't have, they don't mind ordering and shipping to you. I drive all the way from Chico CA (9 hours away) just to get my books from here. They have everything from kids educational books for parents, or series for teacher, to serious texts for college level Islamic studies. Friendly staff and very helpful!
