First Visit—it’s definitely hard to find this place as it’s upstairs and the door is kind of hidden between a couple of shops on the street level. So you really can’t tell that it goes to this particular place. After figuring it out and going upstairs, I chose to sit on the patio at a bar height counter facing Main Street. I had a nice view down to the pier and the ocean albeit to the right instead of straight ahead. I had the BBQ Pork Sliders during happy hour on Friday afternoon. I thought they were really good and a great price. Iced Tea has a fruit taste. I’m not sure about the beer, as I don’t really drink beer. And I don’t know what the vibe is like any other time or what it’s like sitting inside, because this was my only experience with this place. I would definitely come back for the sliders again and maybe even to try other food. I’ve posted pictures of their happy hour menu and their daily specials. There are several different options for parking from metered street parking on main to side street parking with meters or you might find a couple of free spots. There’s also a parking garage down the side street that gives you free 90 minutes.
I give 3 stars for food. I came on a Saturday with 4 friends and they seated us pretty quick! This restaurant and bar has outdoor and indoor seating. You get a good view of Main Street when seated outdoors. I ordered the cowboy bowl which I mainly ordered for it’s steak, just to be disappointed by how much fat and chewy it was. We also got the California Sandwich and pizza to share. The fries that came with the sandwich were also not good… they were hard.. hopefully with this review they focus on kitchen a little more. Additionally, my waitress was great but she had other tables to take care of and we had to keep asking the hostess for help.. it’s a nice spot for a drink tho!
4 stars is pretty accurate. The vibes: good, the beer: good, the food: fine, the patio: nice, the sports: good, the decore: cozy. Not too packed not too tacky not too touristy.
Great beer, great view, great food. The Thai chicken pizza was great. The beer had the most orange flavor, I have ever had.
In short, the place is great for an afternoon bite and beer but I wish they had a bigger beer selection. The service makes up for it. A bit more details, The server with the curly hair was very nice and on point with her work. Sorry forgot her name. Mozzarella sticks came out piping hot and fiesta bowl was very good. Very filling. The food is good bar food. I also like the location if you’re walking down to the peer after to work off some of that beer ha. They have a good variety of beers but I wish the selection was bigger. Lots of TVs to watch sporting events which makes it easy to watch from any angle. I also like they put on the game audio rather than random music when there are good games going on. Park a couple blocks away and walk. You’re not finding anything close.
