Dzo Brewing Company has excellent decor! If you come in during the daytime for drinks, the interior is filled with plenty of natural light which is great for appreciating the Vietnamese decor, or for reading a book or playing games with your friends. All the employees are super knowledgable about their drinks and super kind! I really appreciate how the brewery appeals to local tastes and calls back to Vietnamese foods and drinks. The ales were so popular that they were sold out the first time I visited! The Brussels sprouts were my favorite food on the menu!
Place has a great atmosphere and the food tasted great (fish tacos and rib garlic noodles). Service at ordering could have been friendlier but it was somewhat busy. Also, they were out of some of their signature beers so I had to order the guest brews which were not bad but being a Saturday they should have a full stock. I’ll be back to try them.
We stopped in Saturday night to check this place out. We tried some beer, cocktails and some food. It is a warm and inviting place. The staff is super friendly and helpful. and there is plenty of parking nearby. We got a flight of beer. They create Vietnamese coffee inspired flavor stouts. All the beers we tried were delicious and really brought those coffee flavors forward. We had the Saigon Stout which is a dry stout with notes of dark chocolate and espresso. The Vietnamese Coffee Stout is a milk stout with strong coffee flavors. The Peanut Butter Milk Stout is a sweet stout with notes of dark chocolate and peanut flavors. The Orange Coastal is a light orange ale with a lightly tart finish. All were delicious and totally worth getting again. The Seoul Smash Burger is a double smash burger with gochujang mayo and kim chi. Totally delicious and totally wish it was bigger. The loaded tots where massive and there was a lot of chorizo with it. We also tried some of the soju cocktails. The Autumn In My Heart is a butterscotch yogurt soju cocktail. It was delicious and thankfully not overly sweet. The Bath Bomb is a lychee slushee with soju served in a bathtub complete with a rubber duck. It was fun and delicious. A great place that I cannot wait to come back and try more food and drinks.
Sat at the bar for an overdue and much-anticipated girls’ night out reunion with a dear friend & we got so lucky with Jonathan as our bartender for the night! He recommended 2 great soju cocktails for us both to start with - which we loved; the Queen of Tears & A Calamansi soju cocktail (forget the name but I opted for it with “Fresh” soju and it tasted like calamansi lemonade in the best way possible!). The Queen of Tears drink was so pretty with the butterfly pea juice & color-change! Perfect drink if you want something sweet but not too-sweet to start the evening with. 2nd round, we split an order of waffle fries and the “Twinkling Watermelon” soju cocktail which was so tasty & reminded us of a watermelon jolly rancher and Korean fruit milk candy. Really smooth. The waffle fries were so tasty. Well fried & the honey butter topping made it taste like a homemade sweet potato fry-version of honey butter chips. On the sweeter side for us but perfect to have as a side to munch on with our drinks. GF and I were wanting a non-sweet drink by the end of the night & finished out with a bottle of the Jinro Ilpoom (375mL). SooOoO smooth. I prefer the Fresh Zero Sugar with a squeeze of lemon, but this was so smooth to drink, we had it straight up. We will definitely be back w/ more girlfriends sooner than later! So thank you again and in advance to Jonathan & the team at Dzo! We’ll see you all again soon! Congrats on the successful opening month! 🥳✌️
the spicy mango drink was not bad at 14 was average priced i guess. It would have been nice for it to come in full glass or a little stronger. might like it better when they start the live music the website says they will have. Did like the board games. tipsy scrabble is fun!
