2 stars because I had a HORRIBLE experience over at this place, but they made an effort. I own a 06 Dodge Charger HEMI build that I had originally brought into this place for an oil leak. They diagnosed it and said it was a main seal that needed to get replaced. I paid for the job and brought the car home and soon after noticed leaks from the same spot so I called them to report the issue. They said bring car in. I brought car in and they got back to me saying the car had transmission problems, all of a sudden. I felt confused at this because the car was running amazing prior to me bringing it in for that specific oil/fluid leak. They quoted me, and I gave them green light to begin ordering the parts for repair because i didnt really want to question it. After waiting for the parts to arrive and what not, I finally got the call to pick up my car. A block into driving away from the shop, the transmission wouldn't go into gear after coming to a stop at a red light. This was a clear indicator that the transmission was NOT ready so I called and they said bring it back. Long story short, this happened over and over again (about 4 times) until I decided to contact the Bureau of Automotive Repair and report to them what was going on because at this point my daily transportation kept leaving me stuck in the middle of highways, streets and costing me out of pocket $ to tow my car over to their shop for something they were causing. An investigator was sent out to their shop and it wasn't until after then that the transmision they got for me stopped giving me those shifting problems. I am here today literally a year after and my check engine light through a Transmission p0700 & p0730 code again. It's been so much back and forth that at this point I'm going to take my HARD EARNED $$ elsewhere and hope for the best there because these guys simply just DON'T know what they're doing and language MAY also be a barrier in between that gets in the way of understanding. They will get you used parts that will NOT last you very long and that are pretty much already worn out. You're better off elsewhere. 2 stars for trying, could have been worse or maybe even should have been a worse rating.

Best auto shop. My family has been going here for over 30 years. They are honest and give very fair pricing. My husband's brake light intermittently went out, another place wanted to charge $150 just to diagnose the problem, here they changed the bulb for $5.

Very honest and humble guy. Chuck is the best mechanic I’ve dealt with. Never lied or misled me and even if you bring your own parts and just have him perform the labor he won’t charge you extra but just ask you for a reasonable labor. Been going to him for almost 5 years and never had a single disappointment.

I went there because ford wanted to charge me almost 2000. for fixing the alternator on my ford focus. I went and bought my alternator for 200. and found Bolsa Auto Repair online with 5 stars right next to my house. He has excellent reviews. He checked out my car and had it fixed for me within hours. And the alternator I had bought was the wrong size so he had mine rebuilt, and within hours I was back on the road. Didn't try to offer work I didn't need or parts I didn't need. I'm gunna be taking my other cars to him as well

I love it when I find honest repair shops which is extremely rare. The owner Chuck is the most honest mechanic ever! This guy can fix anyting. one time I had left my van overnight and it was vandalized But Chuck not only gave me a brand new window he also gave me a brand new car stereo even though my car stereo that was stolen wasn't even working. Make sure to call in first to see if they have time to do your specific requested repair. It's because they are extremely busy. They are busy because of repeat customers no doubt about it.
