This place has excellent food. Breakfast foods Burgers, Steaks. Homemade desserts pies bear claws. Very clean restaurant plenty of seating. Take the whole family. They have merchandise for sale. Booths, tables or a bar style area. They also have a sun room style area to eat in. Very unique decorations inside. Log style chairs. Carvings of bears, deer antler chandeliers. I definitely recommend this place. Everyone can find something to eat hear. Kids can color also. Thank you Black Bear diner you are awesome

It was our first time here, and my wife and I loved it! Evelyn, our server, was very polite. The food was delicious, and the portions were big. We will definitely come back again.

It's one of my favorite places to have breakfast. It has a great atmosphere and amazing customer service. The waitstaff are all very kind. What I love about this place is also the quality of the food. It's always fresh and tasty! 10/10 would recommend.

It was our first time visiting this place and we were a little bit unsure about it reading mixed reviews. Upon entering what felt like a cabin in Big Bear... we were amused first of all, then we were happy to be greeted by one of the nicest host we have ever had. A nice lady named... Christina, sat us immediately. She answered all our first timer gazillion questions with a smile on her face and she gave the nicest, funniest, responses she could give in her opinion. 😆 We had a good laugh and then made our choices. Low and behold, and surprisingly enough, we were happy with our choices made. My review is a good one. I had the 2, 2, and 2; and it was pretty darn good. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the bacon was very, very good from other establishments I have been to. I personally make better F.T. though...Lol, they were pretty good. 😉 The cornbread muffins were too good and we restrained ourselves to just having two. Highly recommend to get some of those. 😋 My Mom had the Salmon and she didn't even talk because she loved it so much and kept eating it. 🤣 My daughter had the pot roast and it very was tender and OMG... the red roasted mashed potatoes did remind us of good ol' Disneyland. So in our opinions we really like the dishes we had and can't wait to return to try other items. 🥰Oh, and one more thing... I left with the prettiest stone bear necklace that I can't wait to wear. Right from the get-go they have what you can see plastered all over the walls are bears, I really loved it, it was fun and if you want to bring your kids they will really enjoy it. One of the things is the food. The food is really good they have a lot of it. You can choose from a very simple breakfast, all the way to a very big breakfast full of eggs sausage, pancakes, bacon, potatoes and much more. It's family friendly and very nice. The one thing that this particular restaurant has is Vanessa! I have gone and visited several restaurants in my life and I got to tell Vanessa ranks up on top close to#1 . Vanessa got our order, brought it out fast and took care of us so we'll. Always with a smile, kindness and nicely. She made us feel really good. Next time I'm back in this area. My wife and I will be looking and coming back and have the pleasure of being taken care off by Vanessa. Thank you so very much!!
