so sad, this place practices animal warehousing. they have animals in here for months/ years, and ive had friends and others try to adopt these kitties and gotten absolutely no response, not even a rejection letter. these kitties are stuck inside and no one will work to give them to homes that want them :( -from, a past volunteer

Our rescue kitten, China, was feral and had a broken leg in two places when we found her at about 8weeks old. We had her leg amputated. (The only thing we could do as infection had already set in.) About two months later she got out and we couldn't catch her for three days. She came back to us pregnant and later had 5 kittens. We couldn't afford to get even one of them fixed so the AALOC paid for all of them! Two a month until all were done. I can't thank them enough!

Donated to this organization for several years..But when I needed their asst. with kittens born on my door step.. No asst. at all. I had no idea what to do with 2 week old kitties & no calls returned.. Finally answered a email months later-by then I'm sure I mentioned I had been donating.. Mentioned situation to vet, others.. nothing positive to say..Kept 4 cats, adopted 2 out..Still send me donation request s...aholes
