I absolute love this place! Great place for family dining. We have been going to Buon Gusto for all our special occasions for the last several years. Food is amazing , pistachio gelato is the best! And don’t forget to bring your own wine and no de-corking fee! Amazing value as well! Pet friendly patio !!
Party of 3 went for lunch after a couple of hours of canoeing around Seabridge Park. We asked for a table on the inside (area elevated a couple of steps) and were seated immediately. Each of us had a drink that came with free refills - lemonade, iced tea, diet pepsi. I had the torpedo sub small-size. It was actually huge and very filling. Came with a side of pasta salad which was also delicious. Service was quick and friendly. Total including tips and taxes came to a bit less than 20 per person. Big group of people celebrating someone's 80th next door which we could see from the glass wall too.
I’ve been here twice since I live nearby. The first time I ordered pizza, and honestly, it was terrible. Overly cheesy like a cheap frozen pizza, and the dough was awful. I’m definitely a pizza snob and know a good pie when I taste one — this just wasn’t it. I decided to give the place another shot because maybe pizza just isn’t their thing. Unfortunately, the second visit wasn’t much better. First off, the bread they serve is very low quality — dry, hard, and just not good. I can usually tell a lot about an Italian restaurant by the bread, and this was not a good start. This time I ordered the osso buco lamb shank. I will say the portion size was huge, so if you’re looking to get full, this place delivers. But beyond that, it missed the mark. The pasta was clearly not homemade and tasted very low quality. The lamb itself was cooked well, but the sauce and seasoning were extremely bland. Nothing about the dish stood out or felt authentic. Overall, this place reminds me of Olive Garden — lots of food, processed ingredients, but very little quality. If you’re looking for a truly authentic homemade Italian dinner, you’ll probably be disappointed. If endless bread baskets and oversized portions are your thing, then this may be the place for you.
This place has been a longtime favorite of ours for years. Simply put, it’s great food, great service, and great ambiance at a great price. We just had a large (22 ppl) reservation, and our server (Suzy) was amazing. I know how hard it can be managing such a large party, and she and the rest of the staff did great! Highly recommend them for any occasion!
Classic style Italian-American eatery. I got the Alla Pollo Sorrento pasta, a pesto-based sauce with sausage, mushroom, chicken, and tomato. It was tasty and the portion size was large for the price. Service was good. BYOB with no corkage fee. I’m not sure if they’d allow it, but two people could finish one entree if you don’t want leftovers.
