This was such a lovely italian spot! Orders and checks hand written, food was delicious and filling. We actually met and spoke with the owner who was such a delight. She mentioned having been slower as of recent (which shocked us!) and appreciating our business as a party of 9. This small place was so delicious and such good quality and service, could not recommend more!
This place lived up to the reviews! It is a must and the flavors were so authentic! Thank you so much! We loved it, and our Dutch visitor licked his plate! 🍽️ The owners are Italian and so warm and friendly 💗💗💗Professional service 💕💕💕I’m also a picky Italian. It has been a while since having such flavorful food.
Small family-owned casual sit-down Italian restaurant. Owner Laura was friendly and checked on us a few times and Sofia provided great service. The pasta and sauces we had were delicious, although the meat in my dish was a bit under flavored, even in the sauce. Homemade tiramisu was creamy and light. We look forward to going back and trying other dishes on the menu.
I'm Italian. Outside of Mom's cooking, when people ask where to go for great Italian food, I tell them Mazara. It has such a cozy, intimate setting. Laura, the co-owner, is the warmest host you'll ever meet. Laura's brother, Gino, is co-owner and head chef. He's exceptional and consistent at his craft. This Valentine's Day, my partner had the Shrimp with Linguini. To dine with me, is to give me a taste ;) The pasta was perfectly al dente, and the sauce was big in flavor. I got the tenderloin medallions, perfectly cooked. The veggies were the perfect bite as well, and the potatoes delicious. We don't often get dessert when we eat out, but I had just seen our neighbor cut through the cheesecake with a fork. I could see the light consistency and had to try it. We shared that and loved it! I was pleasantly surprised to hear that Gino made that too. Dessert is it's own art and science apart from cooking, so I appreciate Gino's mastery in both.
The food is spectacular. My wife and I split the Rustica pizza and the Pasta Alla Paesana. The tomatoes and olives tasted so fresh; the crust was cooked perfectly. Easily one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The Paesana dish with meatballs was delicious, perfect amount of garlic. The bread and the house made spreads were both amazing. Laura provided great customer service and was very helpful. You can tell she takes pride in her establishment and is passionate about the menu. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes!!!
