Used to come here as a kid and always loved it. Have been back a few times now, 40 years later, and can say I still love it! Great food, great service, and the owner and staff are just delightful!
As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a big smile from the server Chanelle! I loved the nicely lit room with red leather booths which very nice calming environment to enjoy a nice Italian meal. We started off with the delicious bread and Italian side salad. For an appetizer, we ordered the mushrooms which were absolutely bursting with flavor. For my entrée, I ordered the chicken Parmesan, which was very hot and fresh and had lots of flavor and cheese. Our server Chanelle was extremely fast and was constantly checking up on us to make sure that we had enough bread and refills on our drinks. I definitely cannot wait to come back and bring more friends and family to this hidden gem. Thank you for amazing food and excellent customer service!
The food was drenched in sauce to the point that everything looked like soup, and most of the food was kind of bland. The Caesar had so much dressing you couldn’t get any crunch out of the romaine, but the dressing was delicious. All of the pastas were just swimming in sauce; the fruitti di mare literally looked like soup. Also, the veal Milanese was not traditionally prepared: it was not coated in breadcrumbs and fried/crispy, it was just a rubbery piece of meat drenched in a cream sauce. The pizza crust was crispy like a cracker and had no chew, but the toppings were good. The service was very friendly and professional, but our server was very busy so service was a bit slow. The restaurant is very cute. Lots of comfy booths, a separate bar area with plenty of seating, and nice music playing in the background.
Vittorio’s Italian Restaurant in the Lloyd Wright-designed plaza is a real find in Huntington Beach. The place has a cozy vibe with dim lighting that makes it feel super intimate. But the real highlight? Jordan, the rock star waiter. He’s incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed without any fuss. Even when we asked for extra homemade dressing, he was happy to help and shared some cool details about it. In a time when good service can be hard to find, Jordan’s friendly and thorough approach made our visit really special.
I had an amazing time! The food was fantastic! The service was great! The piano music by Ken was the best!!!!
