Long Beach Airport- Long Beach California Clean well lit and very simple to navigate with 4 gates. Surprisingly the onboarding ramps still roll up to the planes and the ones I used were not covered. Handicap entrances to the terminal and gates as well as seating in the gate area. It was interesting that so much of the airport is outside.
Long Beach is my favorite LA area airport by far. On and off straight to the tarmac. Super easy security. Kitschy vending machines. What's not to love. And it's super fast to get on and off the plane when they board and deplane from both front and back doors.
Easy and smooth. Long Beach Airport primarily serves Southwest Airlines, with a few flights from Hawaiian Airlines and Delta. About 95% of the flights are with Southwest. The airport itself is straightforward, featuring two parking structures:•Parking Structure A: $ 25 per day•Parking Structure B: $20 per day. Overall, it’s a hassle-free experience.
It is a lot different than the LAX. It's so smooth there, the way you drive in, drop off and drive out. The car rental place is a container turned into the office for all car rental agencies. It's cool and cozy. Not 1 problem for me. 5 stars and highly recommend.
Layout is unique, depart and board on tarmac. TSA staff leave a lot to be desired. Airport reps very helpful. Not a lot of breakfast or food options in the morning.
