Hi, this is the pet hospital you want to go too ! Dr Grant was exceptionally friendly and understanding and explained in detail and performed the utmost care to my mother cat before, during ,and after treatment and worked well within my budget under the circumstances and the treatment that was necessary ! Extremely happy with the staff, etc as well ! And momma cat is so much happier! And I was even a walk in without an appointment ! This is by far the new dr and location for my cats ! Without a doubt ! Huge thanks and praise to community hospital and it's staff and to dr grant!
I’m sure many people before me have had a positive experience at this facility, but unfortunately, I did not. The day before my visit, I called to confirm availability for a cat exam, and I was told the exam would cost $71. I agreed to this, as I simply needed my cat to be seen. I arrived the next morning right when they opened. While waiting in line, I didn’t see a check-in sheet, so I stood there. I overheard the staff discussing how busy they were that morning, but no one directly communicated this to me. It felt as though they wanted to make sure I knew they were "full" without actually addressing me or explaining the situation. I had the sense that they were just trying to brush me off, which was both frustrating and unprofessional. After waiting a while with no acknowledgment, I was finally asked if I had signed in. When I explained that I hadn’t seen a sign-in sheet, the staff continued to talk about how busy they were, but still failed to provide any guidance or information to me. I felt ignored and unimportant. Ultimately, I decided to leave and find another clinic. I called a different place, and they were immediately respectful, welcoming, and took my cat in for an exam. All I needed was clear communication and basic courtesy. I hope this clinic can improve in these areas, especially when dealing with new pet owners. It’s important for businesses to be welcoming and informative if they want to keep their customers and succeed in the long term.
My husband is a K9 officer and Dr. Grant has been an excellent Vet for our working K9 family member. This made me want to take our personal dogs to this hospital. Dr. Wiedenkeller is our new GSD puppy’s Vet and is so kind and knowledgeable. My 7 month old puppy loves the staff and is very comfortable in their care. As an animal professional (I’ve been a zookeeper and animal trainer for 18 years), I’ve worked with a lot of Veterinary Professionals, and I appreciate the expertise and kindness of the staff at this hospital.
Dr. Grant could not be any more unprofessional or snarky. I truly wish I was exaggerating. I came in today for a visit for a foster dog at the request of the rescue that owns her. My appointment was at 11:30 am (I checked in at 11:20) and I was not seen until 12:45 pm… for 2 minutes… in the hallway. Not in a waiting room, the hallway. Besides just telling me “she doesn’t have X” he didn’t tell me anything else. Didn’t ask the dog’s history, past treatment, nothing. I had to dump all the information on him once I saw he didn’t want to speak to me for longer than 1 minute and even thereafter, it was like pulling teeth to get any additional information about her actual condition, next steps, etc etc. He was evidently very bothered by the time we were taking from him… which mind you was only 2 minutes. The staff was incredibly nice, but this vet is a complete unprofessional. He’s basically a geriatric, so honestly, if he’s so bothered to do his job, he should probably just retire. I usually take my actual dog to any of the VCA facilities and the level of professionalism there EXCEEDS Dr. Grant’s by far. Save your time and money.
Had a prompt and compassionate experience here. The entire staff and Doctor was very empathetic to my stressful situation. My one year old Shorkie was hit by a car and they took great care of him. Can’t thank them enough, and the cost was reasonable too. Highly recommend and will definitely return whenever vet care is needed!
