I've been going to this dental office for a few years now and what I like about them is that they don't upsell you too much. I have Delta Dental and they are a in network provider. I get my cleaning twice a year and the dental hygienist is very thorough. Dr. Kim is a pleasure to deal with she gives her professional opinion but at the end of the day she leaves it up to me to decide if I want to proceed with any out of pocket procedures. Others I've been to make it sound so gravely if I don't do something and I hate that. I don't want to be pressured to spend money. I use my common sense if it hurts sure I'll do it but if it's not urgent I'll consider my options. Give them a try and I think you'll be happy like me.
Beach & West Dental is an incredible dental office and I highly recommend it! They did an amazing job at easing my nerves and helping me feel comfortable. Every visit to their office always goes smoothly and Dr. Kei Kim truly has your best interests in mind. We absolutely love Dr. Kim and the entire team at Beach & West Dental! Dr. Kim is incredibly detail-oriented and truly takes the time to ensure everything is done right. We recently went in for a mold to get retainers and were so impressed by her thoroughness and care throughout the process. We've been through many dentists over the years, but no one compares to Dr. Kim. Even after moving across town, we continue to drive out of our way just to see her—she’s that good. She's exceptionally patient, explains everything clearly, and genuinely cares about her patients' comfort and experience. Dr. Kim also sees children, which has been such a relief for our family. My toddler was nervous seeing me get a cavity filled, but Dr. Kim was so warm and calming, helping ease their anxiety. She even has a fun treasure chest for the little ones, which my child loved! As for the procedure itself, I needed a cavity filled and was dreading the numbing part, but Dr. Kim handled it so gently—I barely felt a thing. The whole appointment was smooth and efficient. We highly, highly recommend Dr. Kim and Beach & West Dental. It’s rare to find a provider who combines such technical skill with genuine compassion. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, top-notch dentist for the whole family, this is the place.
