Was scheduled for a deep cleaning. Once I set on the chair I was looking around of how filthy the room was. I ended walking out.
The lady that usually does my cleaning every three months wasn’t there they said that she had a flat tire. My appointment was at 9:30. They didn’t get to me till 1015. No apologies no nothing. The person that did my cleaning did it in a hurry they were not ready for me. They ran out of water. So they had to stop the procedure fill up the water and start again when they finished I asked you guys are not gonna polish my teeth today. She says we don’t usually polish teeth with cleaning. I said well every time I come here I get my teeth polished she said OK well polish your teeth she proceeded to polish my teeth for about two minutes. Other than this experience, every other procedure at Western Dental has been awesome.
Caring, compassionate and goes out of their way to make sure their patients are taken care of. They even charged my cellphone. Thank you all !
I had an appointment at 11:00, but I didn't get called in until 12:20, even though there were many people who came in after me. I waited another 30 minutes just to take a x.ray When I asked why it took so long, they said, "We're short-staffed today." If they knew they were short-staffed, why didn't they reschedule for another day? Then they told me I had to wait another hour because it was lunchtime.It’s just for consultant only not any treatment yet .It was truly a terrible experience at Western Dental; despite being a large organization, their time management was really poor, and the staff was very slow.
I only gave this place 2 stars because Asra helped me. She seems to be the only professional but she's mostly just an assistant. Overall this place's management seems to only care about money and the front desk will never want to do their job. They tell you the gun treatment is a necessity to sell you something that isn't then give you the run-around when you find out and want to cancel. The main dentists, no offense, are still so new to things, in 2025 my dentist didn't know what PreP was and was getting confused that I had a history of stds but no current ones and she sent me to see my doctor to make sure I had nothing wrong for medication interactions. If you can, I'd probably choose a Huntington beach dentist or just try a different office. BUT THANK YOU ASRAAAAA! You explained everything perfectly and I felt heard, that's all customers want.
