I am a very picky person when it comes to choosing hotels, especially nowadays because everything is so expensive and not always worth it. This time I chose Hotel 39 after reading the reviews. The reviews were okay, and the location is great — close to all the Asian food, shopping, and very convenient. When I arrived, the outside of the building didn’t look very bright or fancy, so I wasn’t sure at first. But when I checked in, the customer service was very good. The room was big and very clean, fresh and comfortable. I was very satisfied with this hotel. Some people might think this hotel looks old from the outside, but inside is very clean and well kept. I recommend this place and I would definitely come back again whenever I travel to this area. Thank you!
The old Indian man was very arrogant and disrespectful. I was traveling on vacation with my family. I paid the first time. He asked for 170. Then I lowered the price to 110. Then he threw me away. He said I was asking too many questions. Very rude of him. Shame on you.
We requested an early check in and they were able to accommodate. Room was clean, sheets were clean and no unusual smells. Appreciated the microwave and refrigerator but no coffee maker but Starbucks and McDonald’s are close by. Location is ideal for shopping and a SF market is within 5 minute walk. Banh Mi sandwich shop is next to SF and vegetation restaurant is excellent. 10 minutes from Asian Garden. And free internet if you don’t have good cellular. You’ll need to. Ring your own device chargers. The AC isn’t too noisy and has a constant in fan.
This hotel, Hotel 39 in Westminster, is in an active evacuation zone and STILL taking reservations and then giving people the run around when they try to get refunds. Report this hotel to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and avoid at all costs if you are in Cali. Stay safe!
Room was good and comfortable. The outside hallway and elevator not so clean but overall a good stay when I needed it.
