Tom-Wife and team there at SamcoAuto do an Excellent job of assisting you figuring out your cars issue and will get it repaired and on the road again, they service all Makes and Models. They have been repairing my 98 Toyota Camry for a Good time frame and they just recently did another Great of job of repairing it. If you are looking for a place to take your car Highly recommend them, you will be glad u you took your car to them. 5 Star all the way!
Amazing!!!! Tom saved us. We had our catalytic converter stolen the night before I had a business trip. Not only was it stressful, it was our only family car so my wife was home alone with the kids and no car. USAA was our insurance and all though they were great, caliber was not.....they said it would be over a MONTH (July 30 +/-) to get the car fix due to the demand for converters. I asked if there was any other option and they pretty much said no, we just have to wait. I called the dealer I bought our car from (Carsters, also great), and they suggested Tom. After telling him and begging him for help, he said he can get an aftermarket part that would pass smog and work! I called the insurance and due to the long wait, they agreed to do it! Not only that, but the dang crooks did extra damage to the muffler which meant it had to be replaced (caliber missed this). Had we put a new converter on, it would've been wobbly and not a good seal. Tom was amazing, worked super fast, and now we have our car again after a 3 week nightmare which Tom fixed in about one. I am forever grateful and will make the drive from Chino Hills to see tom for our car repairs!!!!
My friend referred me to Samco for a cheaper price and honest work - I got exactly that. I am very happy with the work done to my car, and the price I payed. If you want an honest repair shop with lower prices, this is the place to go.
My husband and I came to get a quote from this place from an oil leak. He quickly looked inside and quoted us a whole timing belt system… skeptical we took it to probably every other mechanic to see the general census. No other mechanic said it came from the timing belt, one mechanic said the timing belt was fine…. Many other mechanic said it was the oil gasket and the pan, others just the gasket. We finally found it was just the gasket. Just be aware most of these guys just see you as a walking dollar sign. We went to an awesome mechanic, fixed the gasket, no problem. For a small percentage of what this guy quoted. Shop around before you just trust a mechanic, is my advice.
If you want to save some money are not afraid to go a little off the beaten path, then go to Samco Auto Center in Westminster. They are honest and affordable and make their living by word-of-mouth. Most of the cars you see here are Mercedes, BMWs and Lexus and they have a loyal following that come from Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, Costa Mesa, Newport Beach and even LA.
