I highly recommended this place to anyone. I have severed nerve pain on my neck that radiate down to my right shoulder and arm for around five years now. I’ve went to many places and nothing worked. I found Dr Nakamura on Yelp and decided to give it a try. His Japanese background that made me think of the good morals, work ethics, and knowledgeable of Japanese people in general. After my two treatments with him, I felt a lot better. Most of my pain went away, and I can felt all my muscles are less tense. He spent the whole hour treating me every time. If you are having chronic pain, and like to use the alternative way of acupuncture you should give it a try. Don’t waste your money and time anywhere else!
A true healer.....Dr. Hiro is amazing! When I first came to Hiro a few years ago I had a serious locked shoulder issue. Before seeing Hiro, I had been going to physical therapy for 2 years, and had also been working with one of the top orthopedic surgeons on the west coast. When surgery didn't solve the problem, and since I didn't have any other options left, I tried acupuncture to solve the problem (my wife suggestion). I was very skeptical that it could work. It was a true miracle as over time things just got better and better. Today I'm playing golf, working out at 24 Hour Fitness on weights and living normally. I still visit Hiro for maintenance but really... he's born to heal, and he healed me thank God. I highly recommend Hiro and his team.
After 8 months from a stroke I got a sciatic issue in my right leg with unbearable pain on entire leg and the foot completely numbed and cold. Initially I saw Cynthia because Hiro could not fit me in, but she did a great job to diminish my pain. My subsequent sessions I saw Hiro and with a lot of needles, moxibustion, electro-stimulation and massage he got me completely out of pain and interestingly started to feel some energetic impulses running through my numb foot and ankle. It is amazing how instantly effective Acupuncture is. I walked in Hiro's office with crutches unable to touch the ground with my leg and now I'm walking with a cane. After every session I noticed new improvements on my condition. I can tell Hiro is carrying on a legacy of genuine Acupuncture and I'm lucky to have him treat me. Thank you Hiro and Cynthia.
I came to Hiro, scared to death of needles but willing to try acupuncture. He was great at helping me get over my fear of the needles, and explained that he has three different sizes. I really enjoy the acupuncture, it doesn't hurt at all and is actually quite relaxing. The next day I feel like I just came back from vacation. I'm always relaxed, energized and ready to work again. He has found little tiny things he can fix in the process (my cold feet, thyroid, etc.) with both acupuncture and vitamins. He’s so knowledgeable that sometimes I forget he isn’t a doctor. I have recommended Hiro to my friends and family.
Hiro has helped figure out and tackle some issues I'm having pertaining to inflammation and adrenal fatigue. So glad I found him, because I was tired of regular physicians just throwing pills at me and suggesting surgeries for things. So glad to have Hiro and his kind staff behind me. I am feeling much better!
